Illinois State Pro Series Race Saturday, May
6th
R.J.D. Hobbies and Raceway
Sign in from 8:00am to 9:15am
Track open's for early practice 8:30am to 9:30am Track will then shut down
until races begin.
Qualifying will start at 10:00am sharp!
There will be 3- 5 min. rounds of qualifying for each class.
Classes will be: novice 1/8th scale buggies, expert 1/8th scale buggies,
1/10th
gas truck, production monster trucks, arena trucks.
A-mains 20 min.
B-mains 15 min.
C-mains 10 min.
D-mains 7 min. and on down will be 7 min.
The top 2 drivers from each main will bump up to next main that will
continue
until the A-main is reached.
Entry fee is $25.00 1st class
$20.00 for each class thereafter.
There will be t-shirts available to purchase that day and prizes given out
throughout the day.
Keep checking website for more t-shirt information for that race. They
should be
awesome shirts!
We will be taking a maximum of 125 drivers for that day.
You may sign up early, if you do payment will have to be received on sign
up.
Early sign up payment is NOT refundable, so be sure that you are going to
make
the race!!!
On sign up we will need your name, class, freq., and transponder #.

Also, the Friday night before May 5th we will be racing track opens at
5:00pm
and racing starts at 7:00pm
Cost will be 10.00 per class and 8.00 for 2nd class

The state series races will be a 3 round
series, with your best 2 out
of 3 rounds counting in the point standings. There will be a state
series final, which will count as 1.5x points towards the crowning of
a state champion.
The races 100 entries max (makes it a one day race, 125 max entries if the
track has lights and can go into the evening), and there will be 5
classes (novice 1/8th scale buggy, 1/8th scale buggy, 1/10th gas truck,
production monster truck and arena truck).
1 hour of practice on Saturday morning, 3 x 5 minute rounds of
qualifying (qual points) and most likely 20(A)-15(B)-10(C)-7(D) minute
mains.
Entry is $25 for the first class, $20 for each class thereafter.
The state series finals will be a 2 day event, offered first to the
track who hosted the highest number of entries, then down the
line at the discretion of the state rep. 150 entry limit, 4 rounds of
qualifying on Saturday, mains on Sunday.
Rules will be the same as the 2006 RC Pro Series National rules.
